Its feeling & looking similar but different to 2011 floods. The prediction is for another 500mm+ to fall over the next 24 hours as the system moves south then southeast and starts to clear the coast late Sunday. How big this flood will be is up to where the deluges fall & how widespread they are etc. Its looking like a widespread major flood to me. The wet weather is not done either after this system there will be slow moving thunderstorms for at least the first week of march 2022.
